I have this both in craigslist and in the classifieds forum. A local guy came to check it out and offered less than what i had originally posted. He said it is hard to get these amps serviced because it was "old." True?

Yeah, full of shit, a good amp tech can service anything; least of all a basic solidstate bass amp.
The only servicing you'd really need doing to a solidstate is having the pots cleaned and maybe have the caps changed after years and years of use.

More pointedly, it isn't old. Made in the 00s, he's doubly wrong. Take whatchu can get, though.

i think he is low balling though. I bought it used for $150. I am selling for $100 and he offered $85
