What to buy next?

Post by johnnyseven »

This may be a bit of an inane topic but i'm in the market for a new distortion pedal, I will eventually get both of these but at the moment i'm a bit skint so I can only get one. The toss up is between a Made by Mike OCD/DLS or a Fredric Effects Green Muff, just wanted to know people's thoughts on either of these. I have pedals made by both of these fine chaps so am aware of their build quality etc already. They will both be replacing existing pedals on my board so it's not a case of adding a new type of distortion to my set up but (hopefully) making the sound which comes out of my amp even better.

I'd go OCD/DLS. You'll get a lot more versatility from that pedal. I also think it'd get more overall use.

im with lank on this one for sure

the f-e green muff appears to be awesome-- get it too- just dont know your music so i dont know which you use more- but most would use the ocd/dls more
I would have given up already if it wasn't for the impending revolution!

I have a DLS and really like it. It plays well with the other pedals, and especially well with the Screw Driver and JHS Open Natural.
