pics will be addressed after my work day concludes. I put up a generalized trolling ad on tgp, which is something I do regularly when I cannot find exactly what I want anywhere for the price I want to pay. I am not going to go into detail about my successes on there but I would recommend a similar action to those hunting for fard to find crap. Anyhow, I was all prepped to spend at least $900 but I got a daphne 66" for $700 plus shipping with the original case 24" scale.
I don't think that's a terrible price at all, so I am pleased as punch. It might be a refin but I can't really tell, all of the pictures I saw of this were unclear.

Is there a better color for a Duo Sonic or Mustang than the Daphne? Maybe Orange with Comp stripes but it would be close.

some of the other pics I have seen have some green aging around certain parts of the body, it might not be a refin

Is this one a duo II? or does the duo II have the single toggle?
Either way, a very nice guitar.

it's a duo sonic II, all Duo sonics after 1964 are Duo Sonic II's, the main difference being that earlier duo sonics only came in 22.5 scale, this one here is basically a hard-tailed mustang, so if you ever wondered now you know.

I don't consider cij's or reissues or refins to be superior to original daphne.
Sorry man, but thanks for the kudos on the guitar, BTW if you want a real 65 mustang body I know a guy selling one for $100, no joke.
