Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

Decent but Cheap Guitar to modify?

Post by lank81 »

Hi All,
I'm looking at getting something cheap but decently made and throwing some humbuckers or single coil buckers in it for a more heavy rock guitar. I'm not a huge fan of fat neck guitars due to my small fingers. I was looking at getting something like a classic vibe and routing it out. Any suggestions?

There are a couple of tele style guitars with humbuckers, you could get a schecter or yamaha pacifica, you can find them both on ebay for like £100-200. Theyre pretty solid playing guitars.

I'm sorry I can't remember the model names of either guitar though.

The classic vibe series is amazing. I would also suggest squier tele custom and custom ii from the vintage modified series. I have one of each with varying degrees of modification.

You should probably stop trying so hard to sell this guitar whilst not contributing much else to the forum.

It doesn't really sound like a contribution, more like a sales pitch dude.

He really did try his best to get banned though. Everything was the fault of punks or libruls, and he had a new injury with each anecdote.

With regards to getting a modding guitar, I'd go with a Squier.
