had our first gig with Wooden Shjips on sunday, got another couple lined up with Dead Meadow and Brilliant Colors.

We have a couple of songs online including a kinda crappy Beat Happening cover, more songs as soon as the vocalist can be arsed recording his vocals

feedback is greatly appreciated

I really like that second track. Alot.
First gig with Wooden Shjips is a damn strong start! Congrats!
We've been trying to get on a Dead Meadow bill locally for weeks but the promoter is edging us. LUL.

I played a show in Rochester with Dead Meadow. Nice dudes. They'll probably smoke you out before the show if you talk to them.

Cute Beat Happening cover. Incidentally, at the show with Dead Meadow someone yelled "my girlfriend fucked Calvin Johnson!" at us between songs. (we were a k band)

I wanna hear vocals! Ya'll sound like rippers.

Well I was in Desolation Wilderness. It was Nic Zwart's project before he moved to California. It put out two LPs and two 7"s on K. Now I play with Arrington de Dionyso's Malaikat Dan Singa which has one LP on K and another one coming out in a few months.

the first song is a nice jam, eventhough there's no contrast throughout the song it has energy, good job to pull this off with an instrumental.

wooden shjips are playing in antwerp i think tomorrow at trix, not sure if i'm going, i'll be in antwerp all day but we made no plans for going to trix in the evening. they remind me of the early recordings of windsor for the derby. but that band's sound has changed a lot on their latest album.
