Two devo facts i loved: 1: they got large ladies from their audience to gather round their gear to warm it up so it would work properly, 2: Pink Floyd gave them a synth that they were about to trash.

Class video, thanks for sharing it.
What they say about Flintstones meets the Jetsons reminds me of something that a member of Wall of Voodoo said about them (WoV) being like cavemen running barefoot through a world of modern technology.

Excellent find, dude! Most enjoyable, fuckin' love Mark's CHROME SPECS.
"We'd often have to hire large women that were at the venue to huddle around the equipment to warm it up" lolz

Yeah those specs are amazing. Did you, like me, do that *hhmm how would I look wearing Chrome glasses like that?* and seriously consider it for a while?
Glad you guys enjoyed!

Fuck - they didn't even cover the fact that Mark Mothersbaugh has Raymond Scott's Electronium sitting in the basement at that studio. I think that's amazing. Literally Mark could open up his own synth museum.

they didn't cover tons of stuff! every time I read a DEVO article/interview I learn something amazing about that band. they are
so the band that would make music out of pink floyd's garbage.
I actually saw them play last fall, it was excellent of course. the stranger did an interview with mark around the time of the show,
here.

I've been waiting for a new Devo album for years. Ever since they released "Watch Us Work It" and said it's from an upcoming album. I was so pissed to find out, after standing in line for an hour to be the first guy in line at the record-store day sale this year at the only record store in my city, that they had a new 2-track single out. I totally missed it. But... I got the only copies of the QotSA and TCV 10"s they had soooo...
