I'm still on the hunt for something light and small for possible London gigs and this is another option.

Would it be loud enough ? I hear yes and no all over the internet... so I'm still undecided .... but I do love the sound of them !!

Not sure about the combo, but I've been gigging with the head and a 2x12 recently and it's been fine. We've played in a couple of pubs and our school hall (which is pretty big). I dunno how much of a difference the extra speaker makes, other than more bass.

whether it will be loud enough or not depends on if you want to use it clean or dirty.

it really depends on your band. I would never be able to be heard with a tiny terror in my band. Also do the venues mic your amp at all? every place around here does and I live in a pretty small city. if they do mic it it doesn't matter how small your amp is, as long as your not into stage volume. i like to hear my actual amp on stage, in my band we all have our amps turned up and mic'd when we play live, and everything balances out great all together. I have a fender princeton which is a small 1X12 combo, im told that people can hear those amps over their bands, but their bands must be really quiet because i used it in my band for a while, cranked up all the way couldn't hear it at all.

Depends on your situation I suppose.

I'm not gigging at the moment but I plan to in the near future... the gigs I've played in the past have all been mic'd, London included. I'm still not sure If I'll go down the acoustic route or go all out electric, so this purchase could just remain a home / studio amp ultimately.

I'm just not sure of my classic 30 that I have at the moment... that seems too loud for the home to sound its best.

I want a good all rounder basically in every sense and have also considered the ZT Club too, but my heart is telling me Orange.

Don't mind dirty-ish clean but would like to boost it for all out drive. My music is usually fairly mellow and laid back rock for the most part.

It's perfect for boosting. I used our bassists for a while I was inbetween amps. It's just not too great for loud cleans...

I don't even have to crank it for gigs. If I remember correctly at one gig I had Volume at 1 o clock, Tone at 1 o clock and Gain at 10 o clock. It was fine.

no. I wasn't suggesting you were criticising. Your post made me realise that my experience with the tiny terror was only from an unmiked standpoint.

I gigged a tiny terror and 1x12 cab at the Glasgow Barfly, so not a HUGE venue but not teeny. It held up well, but it was mic'ed. Wasn't pristinely clean but sounded great.

I've been playing my Classic 30 at home recently, and found that playing through the channel that has pre/post gain knobs works best. Keep the pre down low and the post a little higher and it takes pedals wonderfully. Sounds so good I'm selling the TT in favour of the Peavey.
