That video is fucking incredible. Half of me is in love with the vintage stylings of a Telecaster ripping into a cranked Champ, and the other half is in love with absolutely everything featured here. Thank you.
Oh, and I just saw this recently, which you may also dig:
I hate to be that asshole at the party, but I just can't understand how this would work.
I haven't clicked the video for the information, just watched it. It sounds damn cool and I'm somewhat of a chiptune fan myself--but unless it's MIDI, I just can't see this working.

That's beyond cool. It makes my single copy of Nanoloop look sad. From what I remember, animal style (his alias) uses a couple 8-bit sounding mangler fuzzes that are really cool.
I wish I could find the one he uses but I haven't been on the 8-bit collective forums in over a year.

Here's a YouTube comment of his:

back when i was in college around the time fight club came out we decided it would be cool to do fight club. my friend luke owned a skate shop so we cleared all the cases out of the front room and put some tape down on the floor to make a ring. we fit about 30 kids in there to watch....anyways.
the awesome part was that i brought my PA system and plugged a NES into it and the way we would count time in rounds was by having eric sit over on the side of the ring and go 3 minutes playing mike tysons punch out. so while we were busy beating the shit out of each other. (we used boxing gloves...but the little practice ones, not big padded ones) while we were beating the shit out of each other the punch out background music was RAGING. it was epic. it only lasted about 3 weeks because we got hurt. but it was so awesome when it was going on
