Polytune for the iphone

Looks like TC Electronics are expanding the polytune into the iphone market

What we don't yet know is how much PolyTune for iPhone will cost, but if it's in line with other tuners in the App Store, it won't be much. And if it's cheap and it works, you have to wonder if TC will end up cannibalising sales of its PolyTune hardware.

umm... no. not everyone has an iPhone you know. the pedal form has several advantages over this. I don't think anyone would really use this as their main stage tuner.

Augh, stupid old iPod. No built in mic and it doesn't support external ones.

This would have been perfect for tuning me acoustic.

That's pretty cool. If it's reasonably priced, I'll have to give it a try.

I've been using TuneORama on my iPhone; works pretty well.
