Pedal Case Build

Post by Gavin »

Ok, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna build my own pedal case. Anyone have any tips? Where can I get clasps and/or hinges that come off when opened?

Ooh..

Knowing you can buy those lift off hinges so cheaply makes me tempted to make one as well.

Ebay link

That'd come in at £3.22 for 2 or £4.46 for 3. Not sure if it's the best deal around as it's just the first one like it I saw on ebay but it works out cheaper than the shop Empires linked to.

The second link has a wider range of catches as well... cheaper too

[Edit] phpBB didn't like the link - so here it is in it's messy glory

They also have a wide range of rubber feet and metal corners. If you got the lot from there it would probably work out quite cheap.

Have a browse on axes r us. For my cab I bought 8 metal corners and it was quite cheap. About £6 or so.
