Well I have the Les Meik from Shadow, and I'm doing a bit ov work on it. I have to upload the pics from my camera, which is in my glove box, so it'll be a bit. Basically, it's a maple neck, that was stained to look like mahogany, and then painted over (poorly) with black. A bunch of the black was wearing and/or chipped off. So... Phase I is stripping the neck. I have it about 70% done, and saw that it appears that the reason it was painted over is that the head stock was snapped off, and sloppily repaired. They also sanded through the stain in parts, so I'll have to even that up a bit.

The stripping was from the THUMB RING I wore at the time.

Hahaha, you were a stripper with a thumb ring.
