The heading says it all really, will either the EHX Memory Boy or Memory Toy self oscillate?
Answers on a postcard.

I had a memory boy and it oscillated just lovely; you can also use the expression pedal to tip it over from useful playing into oscillating chaos too. The only thing that stopped it sometimes was when people didn't use the supplied adaptor - they could be fussy about their power draw.

Both can, although it appear some users need to tweak an internal trimpot (presumably governing the max feedback amount) to make it do as such.

Yh the memory boy does quite nicely and you can manipulate it with the different modulation and wave forms in a very unique manor. Its one of my favourite features of the pedal.

Thanks for the replies. I may have to buy one as the oscillation on my Boss DD3 tends to go mental, is difficult to control and makes audience members ears bleed.
