I'm after one of these to put in the neck of my Tele. I'm just curious to find out if anyone has used them before and what kind of results they've had? A friend reccommended using a P90 in there but he didn't say which brand he'd used. I've had a good look on youtube but nothing has really given me a good indication of the sound you can get from them.
I've currently got a Kent Armstrong Hot Rail in the Bridge position and I love that but the neck and middle positions just sound really thin in comparison, so I'm after something that is going to warm up the overall sound of the guitar.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

I had one in the neck of my tele, it sounded fantastic. So fantastic in fact it lasted about a week before I caved in and bought the bridge model and plonked the set into my SG.
It's a great pickup and totally recommended, very warm but clear, not muddy in the slightest.

Ha sweet!
All I've found are people talking about putting them into their LP's, SG's and the like so to hear that someone has had success with them in a Tele is a good sign!
£95 for one though?!?!? Jesas! You'd hope it was worth the price tag! I better start saving some pennies or selling some stuff.
Cheers!

Probably a steak and some donuts... which actually sounds pretty good right now.

I've got a MQ in my LP neck position and it's really great. Not muddy at all like some neck pickups can be.
But I'm a massive Bare Knuckle fan and have them in all but one of my guitars.
