Any idea if this is worth anything?

Somebody wants 450 euros for this:

Too much if you ask me for a "20 yrs old Epiphone Reverse Thunderbird", case included.
Not digging the P/J pup configuration, since I'd much rather go with humbuckers.
It's ugly, but still... I'm kinda drawn to it.
Of course I could hunt down maybe some Tokai T-bird humbuckers and route that shit out etc. BUT I'm too afraid I would just f*#k it up.

i'm thinking that's like a thaaaaang.
i remember mark hoppus talking about switching the configuration of the pickups on his jazz bass (the sig one, with the pbass pups) so that the higher strings have more response/clarity and tonalolity.

I’m not a massive fan or anything, but I like the Blink-182 guys. Mark Hoppus is big into the Bass VI, which makes him cool in my book.

Mark Hoppus is okay . Love his bass .
Too much money for that bass . However if the Euro keeps tanking it just might evolve into a decent deal.....

Set neck or bolt on?
If it's a bolt on your answer is no. If it's a set neck I'd pay €350.

I have been interested in playing one of the newer mark hoppus sig basses with the reversed p bass pup to see if it does make much of a difference. I have a quarter pound p bass pup in my MIM jazz in the normal p bass config and I love the way it sounds, and I don't see too much of a reason to reverse it, but it would be cool to hear how it sounds.

i didn't a/b them, but i owned one of the original ones and that pickup sounded really nice, but i played a new one (reversed pups, missing a string) at the musicians friend warehouse before they closed down, and there was a noticeable difference. granted, it'd been a few years since i'd had mine, but it sounded a lot nicer.
i played it (oddly enough) through the same 3x10 kustom 1000w combo i have owned for several years. i would definitely consider getting another if it wasn't for the neck. i just can't get on with p-bass necks for whatever reason. i want to convert my sx shortscale jazz bass to a shortscale hoppus.
