Does anyone know where I can buy spare parts for boss pedals?

A fat bastard managed to bend back ALL the pots on my DD-6 rendering them completely unusable...

So yeah... new pots for boss pedals...

edit* Had a look at them from the inside... they seem to be mounted straight onto the board... that's annoying

Have they actually snapped or just been bent back?

The way I see it, that fat fuck just bought you a new pedal, man.
Would not bother trying to fix that. Let him worry about it.

I had one o' thems break the power supply to my whammy.

Don't know if you can buy the stuff Boss actually uses but I've had boss pedals with replaced pots, no biggie. You can get a same value and style pot and it should be fine. Just determine shaft size, taper/curve, and value and get minis with circuit board prong terminals rather than wire lugs. Your best bet is a general electronics supplier or DIY stompbox type dealie.

Alternatively you could contact Roland and ask them what you need. They're good about stuff like that in my experience, and according to some dude on a fuzz forum you might be able to order the parts from them too.

Though I didn't see that pic you posted when I wrote that, keep in mind I wasn't sure if it were those little greenies... they give people trouble a lot... how many terminals, 3 or 6?

edit- nevermind, still coming to grips with this photograph concept.

Is the intact one the mode knob? Because I'd imagine that'd be the hardest to source, it being a multiposition switch and that.

I was also expecting pics of the fat bastard.

Might it be possible to tap the post that still left there, so that you can get something else to grip it? I remember BacchusJim had a bass amp at one point where all the knobs were broken except the gain one, which was broken too, but it had a screw eye screwed into the bit that was left inside the pot, so it worked fine.

Still sounded shit, but that was hardly the screw eye fault.

Yeah, I broke a dial off my ancient Boss 8 track last month just before a recording session, and ended up putting a little Alradite on the bottom of a short, stubby screw and screwing in into the plastic pot shaft. Worked a treat, despite looking awful.

Did you manage to keep the knobs, Fuzzbear? I'd imagine the potshafts are still within and could be glued back on with something beefy, again, like Alradite.

I think glue should be the easiest and most effective way...

You might be able to find some replacements but it's going to be hard. The easiest way is to call Boss and they will get you some new ones. It will be a lot less headache this way.

I'm sure Alpha has what you need but then again, finding a supplier with what you need will be the hard part. I think Alpha has a minimum order of 1000 or so if you go directly through them.

We should start arranging group buys here. That would be cool.
