Request for Fender Twin/Deluxe owners

Post by George »

I've recently splashed out a tenner on a reverb bag and one of these

Reverb tank base

Yeah it's cardboard and strips of wood for £3 - big whoop wanna fight about it?

Can one of you guys let me know what they look like attached to the reverb tank i.e. which way round the base attaches to the tank? MAYBE even with a picture?

sorry no picture. Didn't know there was a base.

What you see in the auction pic is the upper side. You screw the bag to the base with the present screws, obviously. Then the tank goes into the bag. How to attach the base to the cabinet? not clear to me ... glue it may work. The more I think I'm sure my amp has no such base, the bag is screwed directly to the cab.

Cool so the cardboard touches the amp, wood struts touch the tank?

I think bag will be screwed down when I get a chance but its a snug fit sort of held in place by amp itself so it may be okay to float in there.

Cheers!

when you screw the bag into the amp, run the screws through the cardboard as well.
