arrived this morning fresh from GAK.

oh boy does this thing rock. it really does make tuning quicker. you just strum and tune up. dead simple and effective. you even get velcro in the box for it too.
everyone needs one now.

Is it accurate enough?
With some of them I find that I need to fine tune by ear even after the tuner says it's on the note.

i did swither about getting one but opted for a TU-3 in the end. i prefer a buffered pedal at the start of my chain, and i need the two outputs.

Does look sexy... my board makes all sorts of weird hiss and 'eeeee' without the buffer though.
Moral of the story. Less pedals. Less Problems

I like keeping it simple, it's really worked for my playing. As always my basic setup is an od and tuner,
And add my saltboost for live use. Being the only guitarist in the band, means I have to fill out the sound, though on a plus it's easier to cut through for solos etc.
I like phaser pedals, swirly sounds and anything verging on Leslie get me happy, so hoping the small stone will fit in just right.
So far, i've found it pretty accurate. It's the first time I've used the strobe function on any tuner too. I've been grabbing any guitar, just as an excuse to use it.
The Only odd think I've noticed is that it doesn't like my carl Martin powerjack. Makes the unit hum, yet on my two other supplies it's dead silent.

That's probably more to do with the guitar, an instrument impossible to have in tune in every position, 'tis just the physics of it. Most tuners are accurate to +/- 1 cent, the human ear is generally closer to +/- 10 cents.
Glad you're digging the pedal, Proggo; I'd say get a videmo up on the SS youtube channel and make us totally cutting-edge. Plus you can say "it's a lock-on!"

Wish it had a switchable buffer. Then I'd give it a whack.

I'm sure people have talked about a 'good buffer in a mini box' before as being a great idea
I wonder if you could incorporate one into a patch cable...

Well, buffers need a power source, otherwise you could definately put an op-amp buffer built with surface mounted components in an audio jack.

It just might work... comes from the thinking, "I wonder if I could have the benefits of a buffer without another box on my board"
Someone's probably already thought of it though
