yeah, like the jazzmaster better. I like what they've done with that tailpiece though; actually spacing it out to fill out the space on the jaguar body. they rarely do that for some reason.

So, is there a new jazzmaster too.. ?

I don't understand this new jag, what does it offer that isn't already out there ? still good they're bringing out new models.

I like the witch hats !!! and the basic jazzmaster-esq switchies.

It offers a Jag/Jazz shaped body with a fender name for less than ever before.... what more do you want??

I guess Squier was selling too many Jagmasters so Fender decided to get in on the action. Very interesting. I still like the CP Jaguar HH better, and it doesn't have enough chrome for my liking.

The main problem I have with this is the lack of upper control plate, even if there is no rhythm circuit.
Not enough chrome for a Jag.
Toggle is good, but would have been better on a plate as well imo.

yeah, they are in the other thread in 'non-shortscale guitars' seems a bit silly to have 2 different threads about them but I understand why....

you guys are snobs. I totally would.

preferable to jagmaster in my book, hate strat trems.

+1. I would be tempted to get the jazzmaster and gut my jagmaster for pickups and tuners.
