Saw this today at my local pawn, its a Fender MIM w Fender case for $180. It's an older one with gloss finis on the neck.
Think that is a good deal

Nice. I got an almost identical 98 for $200 and it didn't even have the case. Hell of a deal.

I'll say that's a good deal. That's a squier price for the guitar by itself, the case adds serious value. I'd imagine most shops would take one in trade for around that price and try to get $300 for it.

that's a fantastic deal. my buddy has one identical to it, and i have the sunburst version with vintage noiseless pickups. probably my favorite all around guitar.

I'd do it and I hate strats with the fire of a thousand suns.

My first guitar was a '99 midnight blue MIM strat. Great guitar. $180 is a really good deal for one!
Rob OG double tint finish. better than anything coming out of the factory hands down

Haha thanks Rob. That DS looks awesome! Unfortunately I already bought this guitar.
Under all the gunk the guitar is like new.It seemed like a pretty good deal but I wasn't sure what MIM strats sell for.
The prices at the pawn shop near me are all over the place. They have a Agile Dauntless for $265 and a new Squier affinity strat for $59 an old Squire Affinity strat for $79 and a Squier standard tele for $89. None of those came with a case. The Fender Strat seemed to be the best deal.

Yeah man, great price. I bought a '91 Mexican Strat for $100, but that's cause it was covered in stickers and took me a few days to get them all off but the poly was like new underneath as well.

Thanks! I bought this guitar because I like the color. It reminds me of a guitar I used to have,a Midnight Wine Telecaster that I bought used at Twin Town Guitars.
I got beat out of that guitar by Guitar Center. I had traded it in on another guitar they had but the next day I brought that guitar back and asked for a refund. they gave me my money back but they refused to give me back my guitar. They would only give me the trade-in value as cash,if I wanted the guitar I would have had to buy it back at their retail price.

Loving the Kinks love here. Incredibly consistent band (for their first 10 years or so anyway. I can't really vouch for their stuff after Musswell Hillbillies).
