Eh, it's a good deal for sure but I wouldn't call it a bargain because it's still a standard (or maybe even affinity, can't tell from the picture), and the bigsby is most likely a $100 upgrade on its own. For a new guitar with the work already done that's pretty cool, but usually the kind of player who wants a bigsby over a normal strat trem or whatever would probably set their sights a little higher than a squier standard series. In other words, if it were a CV series for $100 more I would be a little more interested.

Good eye....considering Squier hasn't used a mustang bridge on any guitars before
that I can think of right now, it's an interesting move and might indicate things to come next year. Then again, it could just be part of a cheap bigsby licensed trem set.

A bargain, but don't fret the silverburst crush...I too have a fever for those damn silverbursts...ugh
Overall, I'd probably go Bigsby though.

That silverburst looks terrible on a tele, and I even love silverburst! The squier will have a jag style bridge as comes on the bigsby tele setup, worst bridge for the job, id actually consider a mastery bridge if I had the tele style bigsby

i'm not as much of a bigsby fan as most, but on that tele it looks sweet!

Isn't 299 how much the "pank sprakle" tele was? This is alot more guitar for the buckage. Is fender getting... Reasonable?

how is the old girlcaster holding up anyways?
is it still making tele sonds ? that thing would look so much more awesome without that black pickguard

holding up well. It's officially Nicole's guitar, so it doesn't see as much playtime as the rest. Plus I put girl strings on it for her, so when I try to play it I end up bending every note.
