hey all. i have a deluxe memory man that's been through the wars and roughly modded before i got it. the delay sounds great, but the background noise and non-working mod section. plus needs re-wiring. i'm thinking it'd cost too much to repair, so thinking of getting a new (old style case) memory man.

but behringer does a version that's supossed to be really good too.

advice please shortscale :D

get the old style memory man. they have stopped making them now and you'll never lose money on it, and it will probably sound nicer than the berhinger.

has anyone used the Behringer one? I own a MMD but I'd like a Behringer to fuck about with.

Hurb's done the best demo to be seen:

its cheap and sounds great. The big box DMM will hold value though

Have played both and owned a DMM: without question, buy the DMM. I'll be cross and rebuke you if you don't.

deluxe memory man is my favourite pedal ever made, so it goes without question i suggest to get one instead of the clone behringer thing

If your gigging it Rob i'd go EHX. Anyway, you can never beat the real thing ;)

Behringer, then the EHX as backup.

Check out the Malekko EKKO 616. t's better than any version of the memory man, The pedal is MXR sized and it actually has way mor adjustability. You can controll the speed and depth of the modulation!
