Jaguar pickup foam

Hi,

Can anyone shed some info on where the foam that sits under the pickups in a jag come from?
I've butchered the foam that was under the bridge pickup of one of my jags when I put a jb jnr in it. It's now cut in two, and placed right at the ball end of the strings at the bridges of both my jags. It stops the strings from ringing while I play the wierd timing stop start stuff in my band.
But now I'm after a replacement as I'm going to be trying out a few new pickups in my jags.

Dont know but i've cut the foam from knee pads (like the ones you get with Snickers work trousers) and used that in the past.

that adhesive draught excluder stuff should work, no? i've used it under the switches on my duo before, the old stuff had gone all rotten.

I used this exact foam under my Jazzmaster pickups. It works great and can be found at most hardware stores. It's also double adhesive so both sides are sticky. You can buy jaguar foam:

Thanks for the tips :)
Is the jaguar foam the same for under pickups as the mute?

I think I'll try your mouse mat tip, thanks!
