OK, I'm on there site now and looking at getting a Mississippi Queen P90 in the neck position of my Telecaster. I need to know whether I'll need to get long legs or short legs?! and I'm also looking at having my Tele modded to have it in series/parallel so I'm not sure whether the conductor matters for this or not?

the legs size is if it is screwed direct to body or pickguard mounted (i think)

as for wiring series, you need a 4 way switch. have a look at seymour duncan's site for wiring diagrams

Yeah, I've already got the 4-way switch but do you not need a 4-conductor wire for that? BK say they can make the P90's with them I think...

I'd presume I need the shorter leg if it's for the Tele then. It needs to be routed for it but it shouldn't go too shallow I wouldn't of thought.

They're lovely - either add a comment to your order saying you're not sure what sort to go for, or just phone them on Monday and place your order that way.

Best pickups I have ever tried. Yes, I go on about them all the time, yes, all my guitars have them. MQ neck is amazing definitely do it. Best thing to do is order over the phone. They have brilliant customer service, you won't be disappointed.

Would you say bareknuckle come close to EMG's Thom? For tone and quality?

Yeah I'm fairly sure you do. Although as said it can't hurt to ask them.

If they made the Warpig in a minihumbucker enclosure I'd probably be saving up right now to get three of them to put in my Alden.

I was considering one for my Nu-Sonic, but I already really like the humbucker in that.

There are definitely Bareknuckles that will give you that same sort of EMG sound. I guess I would acutally choose a BKP over an EMG because they don't sound quite so sterile.
In terms of quality, I think they are great, and was surprised how much difference there was when I first tried them. They are incredibly clear and articulate. As you know, I was a big fan of the SH-5 for years but swapped them out and have BKPs in place.
I have less experience of their more vintage sounding pups, but by all accounts they are just as good. I've got the following:

Strat - Trilogy Suite set
LP - Rebel Yell set
LP - Nailbomb bridge, Mississippi Queen neck
Jagstang - Miracle Man bridge
Jag - Sinner bridge, Mothers Milk neck

The Warpigs are supposed to be an 81/85 set except passive.

I'm pretty sure if you phone them they could rewind them to something Warpig-esk.

I'm with Thom, I love the hell out of Bareknuckles. Got a Mississippi Queen set in my SG and it's phenomenal. The MQ neck used to be in my tele and it sounded amazing there too. You wont be disappointed, and if you are they are great at sorting you out with a replacement.

I got a reply from Tim after dropping him an email yesterday. I'd said I was after the MQ and wanted to wire it in series/parallel, so he'd advised that I get the 2 + braided conductor. I'm guessing this should work... Hopefully I'll have it all done by late this week in time for recording my bands 1st single!

I actually can't wait. I've seen a couple of demos on youtube of folks with similar kinds of setups in the tele and it does indeed sound fairly mint!
