hnmmm, cool, maybe? Dunno.

I think they look cool, but there's something about a relic'd guitar that always seems really cheap and phoney to me, regardless of who makes it.

I totally agree. Also in a lot of case you have to pay more for a guitar thats quite frankly damaged, rather than a nice shiny new one.

I'd rather have a guitar that has something to tell for it's dents and scratches rather than fake mojo.

I love how deep the finish is on the goldtop style one. If they made it with that sort of depth, without the relicing it'd be cool.

Yeah, the way the gold seems to reflect light is quite intriguing, albeit being gooped up in a fortress of polyurethane.

Still, I think the gold + copperesque hardware is one of the more annoying aspects though, making it look either like a quasi-historical movie weapon or a Blade runner set piece. A bad take on German silver or good ol' scraped up matte nickel would have done just fine, I reckon.

Damn, that picture fucked my classroom computer's day up

I really dig that guitar though, even the relicing and gold/copper combo.

i like the headstock design

but never liked goldtop pauls, the only les paul that has my heart is an aged badass looking black custom one, and not just because of the boris connection i automatically make but just, it looks badass. goldtop les paul, burst les paul, not for me.

The TL-300 is apparently back.

Not exactly news, but after nearly 5 years of going *poof*, this Korea-designed (I believe Spear Guitars is behind it all), Chinese-made monstrosity is about 40% less than when it originally debuted, now available for a cool $165 (W196,000). I also have a feeling they intentionally snagged my Sparta pho'shop idea, the sneaky kids. CHEEP IS CHEEP

Sparta shenanigans @ :25, out-of-tune Blooze Metal comes in around 9:30

Kinda cool... are they korea-only? Or does they have retailers in europe?

Doing a search on naver.com yields next to nothing, so it's safe to assume very limited release. And knowing that Spear are almost exclusively sold via Freebud over here, I'm guessing they have no intention of getting word out past the borders of the Korean peninsula.

Yep just caused the computer in my lab to shit the bed. To be honest the Google homepage fucks it up too. Turning the fucking thing on is enough to give it an aneurism.

Cannot get on with that naff "accidentally over-sprayed" mucked-up binding. That does not in any way look like relicing, just a terrible paint job.

The white one looks better, reminds me of those AXL guitars.
