Shortscale Taylor GS Mini Guitar - Sept. 10th

I just saw that the new Taylor GS mini is now available for preorder on the internet. Out September 10th. About $500. The scale is actually 23.5" . I may tried to pickup a used one later on. I have a Baby Taylor - Rosewood I purchased in 2001 and it just keeps sound better as it ages. One thing I have always liked about Taylor is they offer lots of different scales. The scale of the GS Mini fits right between the Baby Taylor (22.7") and the normal acoustic scale. (25.5"). Taylor also occasionally does shorter scaled models for fall and spring limiteds they do each year. They are a little pricey since its from Taylor, but they could a bargain used and you know the quality will be excellent.

Ovation realllly needs to put out shortscales. Those are about the only bodies I can tolerate for acoustic, and the necks are too damn long for me.
