My brother brought this site to my attention. Anyone ever heard/used this site? From what i can see, its cheap chinese knockoffs of fenders, gibsons ect..
Just wonderin if its legit.

From what I've read on the interwebs, the quality of these fakes is a real crap shoot. Some are decent cheapies, others are plywood and don't even have a truss rod. I would guess that buying from these sites would give you zero warranty and slim-to-none chances of a refund if it turns out to be firewood. I don't think it's worth the gamble, in my opinion.

Some lady in China who was selling fake gibsons a couple years back was busted and is now in prison. Her site was posted here and then a few months later an article about her arrest and the seizure of all her guitars was posted.

I think her site was called "payless guitars" and she had another one before that called Musicland or something.
People who ordered from her got the guitars though, she was good with communication.

True , Prolly real shit too. But then again 20-30 yrs ago that's what folks said about the Japanese Lawsuit copies . Jus sayin, . In all honesty I wouldn't buy anything from that site either . Looks sketchy.

the difference is that in the 70s the never wrote Gibson or Fender on an Ibanez, Stagg or Burny Headstock.

I know a lad who's got a jaguar, 2 les pauls and a white falcon all from Payless Guitars.
