What do you think this 1968 Rickenbacker 360 is worth? Looks kinda road worn. Play wear around the first few frets. It's missing some neck binding as you can see in the photo. Tuners are not original. owner says it "plays like butta". I don't want to buy it,I am just curious what you think it is worth in this condition. How much would it cost to repair the neck binding.

Oh...one really cool thing about this guitar: It was used to record the music on the original Johny Bravo Cartoons!

The fact that it's missing finish AND binding in that area may suggest a break/repair... can't see one though.

Since I generally feel old guitars are over priced... The guitar isn't in the best of condition. For finish and binding missing, and missing original parts, I wouldn't pay more than 800-900. For something to be priced at that point, it should have original parts IMO.

I'd pay £1000 for it. If it were black...!

And I was allowed to spend money on guitars.

A friend of mine has that guitar in black (it's a reissue). He got it for $500 new, but that was cause of an error. For the old red one I'd say $1500 or more. Rickenbacker's are very nice and worth a lot, and that guitar would be worth more if it was in better condition.

Personally I don't like the action or feel of the neck myself, but the tone is amazing.
