Would be vastly improved with a black binding and blocks.

im sure its a beautiful neck, could just sell the maple neck and get a rosewood.

Gross, it doesn't need binding or blocks.

It just needs black dots. Those inlays are hideous with that color/maple. *arsecake*

Looks too much like my bleached neck on my Squier CV Duo Sonic. The neck is okay, but I wouldn't have it on a Custom shop guitar. The Shell Pink needs the rosewood finger board to contrast against it. The neck may feel and play fine, but it doesn't look right. Needs a visit to the tanning booth.

I concur. Not my thing. I'm cool with the maple (love the flame), but the dots ruin the whole thing for me. If it had standard black dot inlays, that would be an incredible looking guitar IMO.

Also good points. I generally prefer a bit more amber to the color of the neck; especially on one with a maple fingerboard. And yes, in general, rosewood is a better partner (again, IMHO) for a shell pink body.

The headstock looks terrible. Looks like they picked whatever chunk of maple was laying around. Kinda looks like it has a disease.

I've never been a huge fan of birdseye. I do love flamed maple though.

birdseye maple has always looked weird to me. Even with black dots I think the neck would still look weird. Maple and shell pank just don't go together IMO.

I agree, if it had a nice rosewood neck that would be a lovely guitar.

Maybe the neck just needs to be finished differently. I love shell pink with a maple neck on teles. Maple necks are also way more common on teles so it looks better.
