Hey guys,
visited one of my favourite vintage-sites in the net: OliviasVintageGuitars. I know they are overpriced, but
I like their guitars and especially the pics they make of them.
So they have 3 Starcasters at the moment
#1: Blackie:
#2: The "Natural" beauty:
#3: The Burst:
They claim that its 100% orig, but the knobs seem wrong to me.....
I really adore the black one...

best regards.

Really nice. Hard to say which of the top two I prefer. On paper, I'd definitely say black, but that natural one appeals to me for some reason. I don't usually like natural guitars, or particularly seventies looking guitars but every so often one just catches me.

I have always wanted to play one of those. The top two Starcasters are superior just because of the Bronco Knobs. I know Haze would approve.

Got to agree, the black and the natural battle for #1.
The point is that I'm a sucker for 70s Fenders...
I'm owner of a 78 Mustang and many friends and some luthiers said to me that 70s fenders suck - "bad woods and shit build-quality"
But my Mustang just rocks and I adore the 70s Headstock and 70s Logo.....
I think I would go for the black one, as contrast to my yellowish 'stang.....

that black one with the maple neck is fucking pure beauty. i hate maple necks, but it looks swimming on there.
one thing i've always despised about them (besides the lack of rosewood) is the bridge. blech.
i would think a jazz trem would suite those WR's nicely.

They came with bronco knobs originally, the burst has new knobs. The black one is my favourite.
Also, i love this website. Just the design of it, it looks cool.

Usually the stores by me only get either the ugly green ones or the sg red ones, I almost want to say one time my GC had one of these princess things but it was missing the pickguard or it was broken or something. Can't see myself owning something like that (corvettes in general) but I can definitely dig it

the white princesses usually cost an absolute fortune if i remember, much more than corvettes. same with those red & white ones.

HLY SHT. MMMMMWANT!
What the fuck is this guitar and when are eastwood going to rip it off and sell it to me for cheaps?

vintage and rare have one for a mere £2650. if you cut their prices in half, that's the going rate in an ideal world. finding one's the tricky bit.

You could buy the Corvette reissue and work some scratchplate magic?

Had a quick scout about online and at the mo It looks like Id have to spunk about 4-500 bones and then do aforementioned scratch magic and a full respray to get something like that beauty. Doable in theory but outside of my pricing and motivation at this time alas. I really like the aged pink guard compared to pics I've seen of new-pink guards

A Starcaster like one of those you posted is my dream guitar, but they're certainly not cheap so I somewhat doubt I'll ever own one
