Nice! Did you already have this when you posted a photo of one in the Marauder thread?

Also, have you played it through the Super yet? I know that's the special one in the Pro cabinet, and I am a huge fan of 15" speakers in guitar amps. My main amp is a '73 Vibrosonic, which has a 15".

Thanks! I bought the Beast today for $280. Sounds great though the Super.Do you have a photo of your Vibrosonic? I would love to see it.

I am a BIG fan of the Muffs and I have seen them many times in Minneapolis.

I love the Babes too. I met Lori a couple of times because she used to work in a thrift store in Minneapolis. She had a big house in South Minneapolis and she had a stage in the basement where they used have to concerts. I met her through one of my students from Japan who worked at the Subpop record store in Seattle.

Nice score! What a coincidence too; I would have had no idea what it was if I hadn't seen it in the Marauder thread.

Man, that's awesome. I love both the Muffs and BIT, but I've never had the pleasure of seeing either of them live. Also, it looks like Kim is playing through a SF Quad Reverb (4x12) or a Super Reverb (4x10) there, but I can't really get a sense of scale and I couldn't make out the name.

When I combine the words Gretsch and beast, all I can think about is the TK-300.

Frig, I want one of those.

Beautiful amp. The transplanted tranny in my amp came from a big '65 or '75 Fender amp,I don't know which one.

I'll avoid more picture quoting.

I would assume they use the same humbuckers, I have never gave either a spin so its hard to say!

I once almost bought a neon green TK-300 but didn't quite have the funds for it. I really wish I had one now.
