Visual Sound One Spot - Noise Problem

So I use the Visual Sound One Spot to power my pedals. Two of my pedals (EHX Big Muff and EHX Holy Grail Reverb) require me to use Visual Sounds plug adapter add-ons to fit the jacks. However, I seem to be getting a lot of noise this way.

Would switching the jacks out of the EHX pedals for barrel-style ones solve my problem or is it completely unrelated to the plug adapters?

Isolate things to make sure you know what the problem is. Power it with other pedals, power just the reverb, then just the muff, then both. A lot of people have issues with the Holy Grail adding noise. I remember seeing a band live that had a current issue big muff and holy grail and there was always a faint hiss in the background. Quite annoying at live volumes.
Using the adaptors probably make things better or worse, and changing the jack on the pedal probably wouldn't change anything either. If anything it can make things worse with a cold solder joint etc.

Taken from http://www.visualsound.net/PDF/1SPOTCom ... yChart.pdf:

Electro-Harmonix –
Big Muff – C35 (USA), CBAT (Russian)
Bass Balls – C35
Holy Grail – C35 (requires separate 1 SPOT to avoid noise)
Small Clone – C35
Small Stone – C35
Holier Grail, Frequency Analyzer, MicroSynth, Q-Tron, Tube pedals – not compatible

I can't remember if that's because of the mA or voltage or whatever, but there ya go.

Yeah, my EHX Stereo Memory Man made a weird, quiet high pitched whine when it was daisychained with other units, despite it actually working fine.

My one spot was noisy with many of my delay and modulation pedals. Do not want.

It's your Holy Grail. Don't daisychain it. It needs a separate adaptor.

Thanks for the replies, everyone!

I feel dumb not noticing the blurb about the Holy Grail on the One Spot compatibility list. Very strange how some pedals act when daisy chained for power.

even tho the problem has been sorted i figured i would pipe in that with my current guitar rig im using a memory man with hazzarri and was getting the weird squeel, and when i asked aen about it, he simply unplugged it and all my problems were solved.
