CV Duo Swapout

So.

I like my CV Duo-sonics bridge pick-up, but dislike the neck. I am considering putting a wide-range humbucker a la D-boon... (accept he used a tele)
But then I realized I'd have to route and cut the pick-guard (fuckthat), so my question really and truly is:

ARE THERE ANY really fat sounding single coil pickup that will fit in my DUO, under the sexy robroe ?
What should I look for that refers to that tele deluxe or LP/SG humbucker sound.
THANKS

Seymour Duncan hot rails?
I don't think they fit properly under robroes tho.

Edit: I think serfix? Managed it

i think robroe put one under a solid cover on his bronco but he had to break the plastic cover off the humbucker.

i attempted it, but wasn't happy with the outcome, i used a heat gun to soften the plastic on the cover, and then slid the rails in... just didn't end up liking the pickup that i had.
i think robroe just mashes them in.

now i forgo the pup cover.

i put a duckbucker in my bronco. i love it. no hum, not muddy. its perfect for a one pickup guitar.

you can rip the cover off with a flathead screw driver. you gotta put alot of fucking muscles into it and not be scared you are going to break it to rip it off. but it works. after you rip that shit off, it will fit under a mustang pickup cover. it makes it bow out a little but it can still stuff in the hole.

its in there!!!

Okay, sorry to be demanding, but I need to clear my question up.

Is it possible to get a thick humbuckers sound, in a single coil. I am thinking like having a widerange humbucker on a tele neck position, but without the routing...

Is the duckbucker that thick sounding?

It's pretty much a singlecoil with no hum, best look into a singlecoil sized humbucker.

WHAT ABOUT pickups that aren't humbuckers?

Can you get a deep sound with a non-P.A.F. mimmicking style singly coil?

gfs makes a bunch of strat sized single coils that are vintage hot to METUL HAWT.

What does high output entail? just louder? or does it mean anything about treble or bass frequencies?
