Looks like a failed attempt at making a Swinger.

there's a successful attempt at making a swinger?
The patina around the underside would have me guess this was early 60's but most duo sonics have the full rounded body, not the cutaway seen here.
ORLY?

anyone know what kinda pickup is in the bridge?

I think it's a G&L MFD pickup.

"Location: Sparks, Nevada".

Whenever I see the name of that city I cannot help thinking of the "Mustang Ranch". (The first legal brothel in Nevada.)

I think it nearly works, except for those parts of it that are so obviously original, around the horns.

Looks like a 63. Has a few good parts but not $425 worth.

"it appears entirely original" ha.
Saw this last week surfing Ebay...I remember thinking what a shame.
