1999 AVRI Jaguar

Post by Aeon »

Traded a few trinkets for this Jag. The original owner did a few [questionable] mods, but the ASAT pickups in it aren't too bad. You can see how much the clear coat has yellowed over the years in comparison to the 2007 AVRI Jazzmaster. Personally I like a starker white, but the cream has some charm.

At some point I may modify it towards a more stockish configuration, but for now it's been pretty good.

Man, it looks great, especially next to the Jazzmaster. White/Tort Jazzies look awesome so the big pickups lend some smart looks to the white Jag methinks. Beautiful pair of guitars anyway.

Same guitar, he just added the diamond plate to the switch later. Personally I liked it better before without it.

The ASATs sound a bit too midrangey and hot for my liking, but I can probably wait awhile before dropping money on a pickguard and pickups.
