WITE FALCON II

Some of you know I am working to fix a 62 White Falcon that is missing a neck (and shoulder). It would seem then like the last thing I would ever need is another white Falcon. You would think that, and you would be right. But guitars are not about NEED. Cooterfinger bought this one a while back and decided to sell. It's mostly complete, with the one little issue of needing a NECK RESET. Hats off to Cooter for giving me the chance. This is one of those projects I have been waiting for. But it also meant I have to cut down my projects so I can focus.
This weekend I took it apart and cleaned it. I should have some pics tomorrow. It's a heavy thing, and just by the look of the painted insides, you can tell it is no ordinary build. Well, I am not here to gloat. I am privileged to have the opportunity and am happy to have it. I don't quite know what kind of time it will take. Meanwhile having access to it may be just what I need to finish the other one, which makes this fix look easy.
Here are some pics from the original Reranch post. There are a total of five screws holding the neck. When I took the strings off, the nut shot across the room. There may be a lot of little things before it's all over, like gold binding. I will try to document it.
