While I do not know what these pickups are, I'd like to mention that they look like harmonicas.

That is all.

not sure. They look lie stuff that came out of the old import guitars. Again not sure though. If so, they may be cool, but probably not worth a ton of money. It will be interesting to see how long it takes Jcyphe to answer the question  He seems to be able to find this shit pretty quick when he is around.

Looks like there are some corners broken off the bases.

They are tri-rails. They were fitted on guitars from the Dong Wang factory during 1972. Very collectable.

I had a dream that said they were from a uber rare sex-machine Höfner.

I have no clue what those are. The pickup has 12 pole pieces and for some reason a bass/treble slot design on the covers. No idea why it would have that as it clearly has 12 pole pieces.

If you find out what it is, let us know.

I just looked through my huge folder of guitar pictures and found a photo of an old Ovation Hollowbody with these style pickups. here's a picture from a website on Ovations.

Apparently from the specs I'm reading these are humbuckers and were Dearmond designed, toaster style slots make sense now.

They do and in that link it says the pickups were Schaller made, interesting.

Damn....late to this thread. I actually have one of those ovations like Jcyphe posted but it doesn't have the original pickups. If you end up with those and want rid of them I would take them off your hands if they're a good price.
