Nice to see this especially since seeing the Nickleback Les Paul signature LP.
Tone and Volume but ... no Thought control.

Cool to see him have a sig model, but nothing all that special here.

Haha, yeah. I fucking love Roger Waters, and this could never possibly be as supershite as the Nickelback signature bullshit machine, but Fender sigs are the other extreme. I honestly think it's more to do with the artists than anything else; If Fender ask them what defines their signature model, they're basically going to dictate the specs of a model they already make. After all, what else are they going to really want to add?
I think the more amusing aspect of this is that Waters isn't even that good a bassist. Quite a bit of Animals was done by a session bassist or Gilmour, and The Wall probably features very little of Waters actually playing an instrument at all. Even when they played it live he mostly played a guitar, filling out some of the chords and stuff.
It looks pretty cool, though.
There was a Roger Waters signature Washburn guitar a few years ago.

How does it compare to a black standard precision? specs / price? Don't know. But this really does not look like the guitar the world has been waiting for.Still waiting for the David Byrne Signature Mustang

And the Bob Wootton signature Jaguar.

Just what I thought. A pretty cool looking bass, which will play/sound well, but will cost an astronomical amount purely through it's association with Waters.

It's nice to see respected artists get sig models. It is a bit plain, but to be fair so is the one he's always played. Between this and the Geddy Lee Jazz bass I'd be set for life.

I don't like the black hardware on it, other than that, it looks awesome!
