Futurama guitars (not the vintage ones!)

I was in my local guitar shop this morning, checkin out their stock of Fenders. And I noticed in the middle of them were 2 guitars with "Futurama" on the headstock. Written in the Fender font... one was a burgundy mist strat, the other a kind-of-daphne blue tele. They had no price tag but looked really nice, and felt solid. They looked as good as all the fenders around them...
So i have been searching online and found only 1 site with them. for £189!
strats and teles
Anyone seen these before? They will deffinately compete with the CV Squiers..

Music Ground had a few in just before they fucked themselves out of existence. How exactly are they getting away with it? And would they please make a Jazzmaster copy before they get sued into genericsville?

It might be like how Indie gets away with Ric Copies in the UK but not in the states.
Either way, those are some beautiful cheap guitars, would probably consider buying one if they sold them in the states, and like Eric said, especially if they made a Jazzmaster copy.

And ESP's Eclipse I (almost a Les Paul) in Japan and Australia but not in the U.S.A, there they have the American version of the Eclipse, the Eclipse II.(Not a lot of difference really)
The Eclipse is
almost a Les Paul, it differs slightly but its close enough for legal complaints IMO.
For all intents and purposes it sounds like one, just looks a tad warped in areas.

I wouldn't compare this to Squier CV quality. The neck is a weird colour and the plastics look cheap.

The neck does look weird in that photo, but the ones I saw in the shop didn't. They looked identical to the fenders right next to them, the tint and the gloss finish.

I'll pin these as gash untill someone proves otherwise.
