So, hello.

I want to change the look of my Mustang I recently acquired from DGNR8
Heres a pic:

It is a slightly yellowed Olympic White, not a Vintage white

It, all according to Robroe (when it was asked about in DGN's thread PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED ITEM)

So I found nothing about that line of Mustangs so I am going to assume it is a 65RI... cause it has a red tort not brown.

White, Black, or White Pearl Pickguard!?

I love them all so I want ShortScales opinion about this.

I also want to change knobs, and was thinking these Purty of somesort chrome bellish ones, or unnumbered Bronco knobs. What do you guys think?

On a side note, where can I even get pickguards that will fit this 65RI?

But bronco knobs on it and then leave it as is.

Well I didn't mean from that store specifically... just Chrome ones that are not barrel shaped...

That's not a 65 reissue. 65 reissues are slab bodied and their pickguards aren't cut to meet perfectly with the control plate and bridge to mimic shrunken vintage ones. 69 reissue pickguards should fit the 90's classic series Stangs.

Pearl on white... not sure.. could look cheap or too country.

looks crap IMO. mustang/jag knobs look the best on chrome. I think I would even prefer them on a tele.
