Crazy Jagstang Prices

I spotted a lefty jagstang on ebay a week or so ago and added to my watch list out of curiosity as you don't see them so often. Anyway, it finished this morning in the early hours...
It was in the US and went for $1325!!!!!

That is insane! As cool and rare as they are (particularly lefty) they cannot be worth.
Take away any Kurt associations and it wouldn't sell for half that.

Shit. I've always wanted one.. I hope the prices don't just keep rising. I think I'd pay 500 tops for a mint daphne Jag-Stang.

There was one in the UK a couple of months back that was listed with a BIN of £1000GBP - sounded crazy at the time. It didn't sell and was relisted a few times, finally with a BIN of £825 - still way too high imo. Haven't seen it since.

Must of been a fluke . E-bay and stuff can be retarded like that . Going price for a Jag Stang is $500-$650 in the states .
One thing is for certain the guy that paid that money will have to wait a long time to make his money back if he plans to ever sell it ( if in the US . Places like South America I've seen Mexican Strats go for as high as $700US due to tariffs ) .
If the prices are happening to go that high you might as well have Warmoth build you one that's cheaper and better.
