Godin SD Performance Series - Opinions?

Post by Simon M »

Hey, all.

I just wanted to know what folks thought about the Godin SD shortscale guitars. I like the look of them, but wanted to ask for opinions from people who may have played one.

Thanks! :)

Probably okay, aren't they? People have said Godins play okay. No-one has ever said they look great or are particularly exciting.

Except that semi that people rave about. That looks nice.

If any other company offered 13-pin Roland synth access stuff people would get excited. But not Godin. Stuff's too boring.

I'm a fan of Godin in general. Like timhulio said, they're not much in the way of aesthetics (for the most part), but they feel and play great as a general rule.

Yeah, I've been wanting to test out the Richmonds... the Dorchester is pretty tasty.
