I have a cathedral but i don't really need it, all the cool sounds i get out of it i already get from my hazarai, and it's big and it needs its owned power source.
So what simpler pedal should i get to take its place? it needs to have a nice room and spring reverb, also tone control.
My first thought was the digiverb.

I liked the Hardwire RV-7 and Verbzilla that I've owned. The Verbzilla has the tone control, small-ish footprint and sounds guuuuud.

Another, cheaper option: Marshall Reflector. It has the modes you mentioned, and its 'damping' knob can cut the higher frequencies.
Btw, cheaper versions of the Verbzilla and Boss RV5 are the Behringer RV600 and DR600 respectively, I think.
Reverb stompbox options always seem limited.

+1. best deal you'll find for a reverb. 7 lexicon reverbs in a pedal that you can pick up used for $40.
if you want to spend more, I would look at buying a lexicon rack unit. their cheapest unit (like $100) will probably be better than any pedal out there.

I had a Verbzilla and it was great. So versatile and nice sounding. I mostly kept it on the spring setting but there's loads of usable sounds. The RV600 is a clone as a lot of people here attest to so I would whole heartedly recommend that.
The amp I bought has a proper box in teh back which I prefer. Less hastle and less money!

Marshall Reflector.
I think johnnyseven is selling one in the classifieds. I'd grab it.
Great pedal for the money with a great reverse mode too. Doesn't have a tone control.

i found a digiverb for 60 euros, so i'll probably buy that. The hardwire and verbzilla are also good options, but i'm low on cash and i already do most of my reverb stuff with the hazarai. The marshall doesn't have a tone control, and that's something a want.
Thanks for the help everyone.
