My Mesa combo is killing my back, so I'm looking for something new.

Is there anybody near San Jose who could grab this for me?

A hefty head and cab won't kill your back?

They're great amps, and $400 seems like a pretty good price. I see them go for $450-$500 usually.

I bought mine before people realized the greatness... payed $260ish I think.

My mesa F50 is fifty pounds of pure awkwardness. There's no easy way to lift it. I'm not interested in the seller's 4x12 Marshall cab; I'd rather build a pile of small cabs than lug one huge one.

I tell ya, it's not every day you see people trading in their Mesas for something that is generally accepted as inferior.

If you do go from a Mesa to a MIG it'll feel like a victory for those of us with a sense of reason and objectivity.
And an arrow into the poison heart of that black, black company and their outrageously (at least, in Canada) overpriced, overhyped gear.

meh, say what you will about mesa's being overpriced, but i don't think they're overhyped. especially the combo's.

i wish my peavey XXX sounded even more like one, but not for the difference in price.

Yea I had a friend in NC that got one before people realized how awesome they were. I think he got his pretty cheap too. He let the guitar player in my old band borrow it for a show once and it sounded amazing!

There was a mig 100 at paul's boutique for $499 for months.

There is a model-t sunn, original for $799

I always forget about Paul's... Need to start saving...

I was planning to roadtrip to Santa Cruz to visit some friends. Now I'll add an hour or two on to the drive and pick up this sweet thang as well.
