Incidentally, I was quite impressed with the Rotary Drum and Rotary Drum/Horn sounds on the M9 if you're looking for a more cost-effective and flexible option, or just another reason to own an M9.
Very few decent demos of it on Y'Tube unfortunately, and mine's in London currently. These sound pretty bland compared to the actual in-room sound:

You may be able to send the drum and horn signals to different amps using the 2 outputs, but I'm not sure. There's a slow/fast setting that, even when switched between with the parameter knob, will ramp up or down slowly. Use of an expression pedal might let you change the speed manual, but again, not too sure.

500 quid? I believe you may be able to purchase an actual Motion Sound rotary guitar cab for that price.

Worked with Jeff from GigFX at GuitarNation this year and he showed me this little bad boy, I was impressed fo' shizz.

I can't find a better video, Jeff just seems to show the tremolo settings and puts on a flanger to simulate a leslie; I'm not sure why (tis silly really) this is because with the stir setting and the right depth I actually thought I was playing through a leslie. Needs a stereo set up to work, mind.

the guy from portishead uses a hughes and kettner rotosphere for live stuff, i always fancied one of those.

the rotoshpere sounds really good.
i had the RT-20, but it robs all your top end when bypassed. plus the light show pisses you off after a while. the line 6 roto pedal always tempts me, just look fuck ugly.
i wouldn't run it in stereo, as i don't have another amp. did think of just doing the fast chorus pedal trick.

M9's are sexier. tis fact.
i think it's more how high those line 6 tonecores are. if you have a row of mxr sized pedals and then that, sticks out a bit. same with my orange footswitch, it's like i gig with a wedge of stilton.
you and benecol are trying so hard to get me to buy an M series pedal. i'm routing for the M3 to come out.

Rob, I've stopped trying: you are after umpteen pedals to perform about three different tasks, including looking at a £500 pedal to do it with. For that money, you could buy an M9/M13 and have enough change to buy a second amp (I'm thinking a Marshall class 5) for your Leslie fun. AN ACTUAL MOTION SOUND ROTARY SPEAKER CAB IS 550 GBP.
Why teh fuck is this pedal like $800? It's flat out more expensive than a good laptop. It costs the same as a shitty beater car. We have a 44" LED-LCD HDTV in our apartment that was like $600 brand new.
