Shell Pink Mustang

A guy on another forum got this Mustang from his father. He said that it is a '73 or '74. He said his dad bought it about 20 years ago. He says that the paint is either original or a very good refinish.
Do you think it could actually be original? Or maybe a factory refinish like this '66 Tele?
