Output of Japanese Jaguar pickups ?

Anyone knows these details or where I could find this information ?

Mine reads 6.27k for a MIJ bridge pickup I have spare. Don't have a cij neck pickup to measure but probably right around 6k
6.77k on an avri bridge pickup just for reference

Seems a good place to mention this..
I've found the output of a pickup does'nt really stand for anything other than confirming its broken or not matching specs. I've had some pickups measure say 10k and they handle gain worse than some measuring around 7k, some in particular have more so lacked in the 'clean' department as well.
A good example was the SJAG-2 i had, it really did sound good on every application to me. Yet the SJAG-3 which is higher output did'nt.
Of course things can get stupid like the 18k BCR BDSM humbuckers which are too over powering without using your guitar volume in stages. Interestingly the EMG-81 measures at 10k which suggests it being a high output Metal 'bucker a myth, its output is the same as your average Gibson Humbucker.
I find pickups fascinating, they can make or break a guitar and Duncan and DiMarzio in particular revolutionised guitar upgrades.

Thanks guys. I was just reading something similar last night with regards to pickups and their output.
My stock Japanese neck p/up is louder than my cool rail in the bridge.
Just seems odd when the general consensus of Japanese pickups have been thin & weedy.

Typical consensus is that the necks fine but the bridge pickup is thin sounding. Make sure the heights are adjusted properly to even things out.

Yeah I've altered them... I think partly because the cool rails is underneath the jag p/up cover and the railed curved pole piece is pushing the cover upwards slightly isn't helping from the aesthetic point of view. i.e. the height difference in reality isn't that significant. I may expose the cool rails and get a black cover for the neck to match and see how things go from there. It's odd though... treble compared with bass can be deceiving in terms of volume, which also changes depending on the environment you're in.
