Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing, not re the Dano-hate thing but in more general terms of Argos selling guitar pedals.

I'm kind of impressed but i doubt my local guitar shop will be, i think he'll close this year. Maplin stock the FAB series but the Cool Cats is where its at.

I'm surprised my local shop stays in business. It never seems very busy there but he does stock stuff like Barber, Keeley, MI Audio, and a few other builds. Big Business / Internet kills local businesses anymore, unfortunately. Now you have to deal with douchebag GC employees or buy without try from the Internets.

That's right.
Big catalogues selling guitar stuff is nothing particularly new, though, at least not in the USA. I got two Adrenalinn II's for cheaps from a friend that worked at QVC who had been selling them along with a bunch of other guitar-related things.

argos have sold music gear since i was a kid, stuff like encore strats and casio keyboards, etc.
