Jaguar Neck Compatibility

Just a quick question I cant find a solid answer to but I figured if anyone would
now it would be here. Can I put a 1963 jaguar neck on a 1965 or 1962 body?

understandable so..
in theory any jag neck will work on any jaguar, mustang
because they are designed with bridge to nut being 24"
only issue becomes neck radius, however in the date range you are looking at it will be no issue.
as the only jags that have a different radius are from the last 3 - 5 years (CP HH, Blacktop, etc..)

I guess owning a Jag CP HH threw me off a bit because it felt different.

yeah they use a 9.5 radius instead of the vintage radius, it would work on a vintage body but you would need to change the bridge (though.. not necessary, but it would work better)

Bridge wouldn't be a problem going from the standard Jag bridge to 9.5" rad. It would be going from a CP or Blacktop to a vintage neck, however, since they're not as adjustable. Standard Jag bridge can conform to lots of neck radii.
