New guitar day!

So... I've just got back from a trip to Leeds to collect this. Realised that some things are just worth forking out the money for. These things are like hen's teeth in a lefty model and was too good an offer to pass up. It's a 1991 model and plays extremely well... surprisingly so I thought. Probably means I'll have to part ways with my Tele, which I've had for a few years and put a lot of money into getting just how I wanted it. We'll see though...

Absolutely beautiful. I'm glad I'm not left-handed as it minimises the jealousy.

Ha, you are forgiven! Yeah, it's a 335 :)

Thanks for the compliments. I'm sure she's a keeper... Pretty much my dream guitar. I do need a name for her though....

No, no you don't.

So how much did it set you back?

You don't think? I suppose it is a bit of a cliché.

It was on eBay originally for £1899 and then they reduced it to £1600 I rang the guy on Friday and made a daft offer of £1300 just to see what he'd come back with. He told me he wouldn't accept any less than £1450 and so I just said 'fair enough...' and went for it. Had it shipped up from London so I could collect it from his store in Leeds today. At the end of the day, I know how rare they are in black and the Bigsby was an added bonus, obviously. For that price I would of been a bit daft not to just go for it... Money is money but you can't put a price on happiness (as sad as that sounds!)
