hmm not a bad idea. I was thinking of building one, but can't find schematics, and i would need to buy a decent soldering iron, and it's expensive to order just oe enclosure. It's probably easier just to ask him to build me one.

I made one of these and created the schematic myself (asking Mike to take a look over it to make sure). Though I used an extra switch that bypasses by signal chains. I might have the schematic uploaded still. It's very easy to make.

I think that's probably the one I actually used. You could simplify it quite a bit if you only want one switch and one or no LED.

Thanks James, it looks really nice btw.
A master switch would be cool, but what i would really like is a switch (toggle) to activate both loops. Can't seam to find anything like that online, but haze did say he might be able to build me one.

im new to all this pedal malarky but i think this is the sort of thing im looking for. is it just basically a switch to divert the signal through two seperate effects loops?
i had been looking at the boss ls2 but am i right in thinking that only allows to have one loop set up if you still want to keep your dry sound?
i basically want to have two loops PLUS my dry sound if that is at all possible.
thanks guys

I don't really understand what you're after. Are you saying you want a pedal that gives the option to have your dry sound going through the looper with the option of having loop A or loop B on, A+B on or neither loop on? Or are you saying that you want to mix your dry sound with whatever comes out of the loops? If so I think somebody else raised this in another thread recently, not sure who though.
The Boss LS2 has all sorts of options for how you run your loops including and A+B option but you can only switch between A+B and bypass with no option to use A or B seperately without turning the mode pot. You can't mix your dry sound with the effected sound though.
Mike has made me a few loopers in the past, it might be worth speaking to him to ask if he can make what you're after.

errrrrmmmmm confused.com
like i said im pretty retarded when it comes to stuff like this. what i want is basically the ls2 but with an extra loop. i have two "sounds" that i use frequently consisting of more than one pedal on at once when im not using them im using my dry sound.
so i want something which enables me to leave the pedals ON all the time and just one switch to get that sound instantly without all the bloody tap dancing.
so i suppose what id need would be 2 loops and a bypass for the dry signal
does this make ANY sense whatsoever

The box James has detailed will do what you want.
A/B loop select footswitch
Master bypass (dry)
You can present A or B so that when you kick off the bypass you'll go to that sound, and then switch between A and B with one footswitch, and move back to dry by bypassing again.
I'm sure Haze will be able to build you one.

If you think you can make one (and it is quite easy if you're able to drill the case) it's just a matter of totalling up the parts costs and shipping. If not you should speak to Haze or someone else who might be willing to build one for you.

I tried building james diagram without the master loop, but i don't get any sound, just ground noise... The leds are working like they should thought
this is exactely how i did id, can anyone figure what's wrong?

Try disconnecting the ring from the input jack if you used a stereo jack there. Are you sure it's all mounted properly? the jacks are sat against the case correctly and all that.
I don't really know much about this stuff, I'm just guessing here.

I'll try that, i connected them because i didn't use a battery clip, but now that i think about it it doesn't make much sense to have them connected. I haven't put the circuit in a box yet, but everything looks good to me..

I switched the stereo jack for a mono one and it's now working. It's still a bit noisie, probably because of bad soldring jog and the km's of cable. Now that i know my way around a soldering iron i might just build another one.
